Karla's turn. She make it further than I did because they pulled out the stump that kept slowing me down.
She still didn't make though and got pulled the rest of the way up by a winch. |

Second try for Vance - he took the "hard" way and had no trouble. Maybe I should have tried that side...
Then again, those rocks are kind of large, maybe I'll wait until I get that 2" lift and bigger tires. |

| The goal here was to get a good picture of scenery, but it ended up being a lot more of
Vance's rear end (and nobody wants to see that). |

| We just came down the trail that you see winding around the power lines. This also shows some of the pretty colors of the
area. Plus, it has my Jeep in it. And the Cherokee behind me - he was one of the trail guides. |

Notice the big grin on the guy on the left (without the camera)? He was not only our primary trail guide, but also the guy
that organized the entire Jamboree. One tire off the ground is pretty cool! The guy in the corner with a camera is from 4 Wheel Drive
Magazine. Vance may be published! |

happy to take the bypass (of course at this point I didn't know Karla had crunched on it). |
Almost there. With my longer wheel base, I know I'm going to scrape a bit along the rock, but that's why they make skid
plates (and why I'm thankful John reminded me that the were well worth the money). |

Day 2 - not as many photo ops since the trail was always winding through trees. This was at the bottom of the "hill".

| This is the trail we didn't take. |
An up close look at the tree root. It doesn't look like much from this angle. On the left, by the person, you'll see the
root. There is about a 1-2' drop off on the other side of that for everyone to get up and over. Not an easy thing to do without LOTS of
momentum. |
